About Kayakasia Paddlers Club (KPC)

KPC is an initiative by a few kayak owners to enable fellow owners to access Singapore's reservoirs for recreational boating. It is an informal grouping of like-minded paddlers. Members of KPC have portable boats that enable us to paddle at PUB-approved reservoirs on our own.

When paddling at local reservoirs, members need to display a Boat Tag on your boat. This is to comply with PUB's regulations. Through this ID we represent each other and will in fact be paddling ambassador on the waters. As such we hope members can help uphold the following KPC's values:

- keeping our waterways clean and suitable for paddling activities
- promote paddling for all, especially young and old
- promote responsible and safe usage of our waterways

Whenever we paddle, we should think about keeping ourselves and others safe, and ensure our reservoirs are kept a pleasant place for fellow paddlers, park users, and fellow non-human creatures. This is done by familiarizing ourselves with the stated guidelines, rules, and regulations, on reservoir paddling.

These so-called rules are not meant to limit our experiences on the water. When you read them, you will find that they are actually common sense advice to ensure the best possible experiences, for all that use and live around the water.

With these, we wish everyone happy paddling !

Cheers,

Huey
